Description:
As a Stand-Up Forklift Operator, you will perform a variety of tasks within our warehouse including loading trucks, unloading trucks, case-picking product, and staging finished product as it is released from our packing area.
1st Shift 5:00am-5:00pm on a set yearly schedule
Stand-Up Forklift Operator Description:

• Load/unload trucks (pallet handling)
• Check product for damages during loading and unloading
• Perform picker and put away functions including staging and live loading
• Perform case-picking functions
• Ensure all products loaded/unloaded are in good order and accounted for
• Wrap any product with ripped shrink wrap and account for it on a tally sheet located on the shrink wrapper
• Correct any information that is missing or incorrect on the paperwork
• Fill out the paperwork correctly for all inbound and outbound products
• Inspect all freight and report to the dock manager if there is a damaged product
• From time to time, break down pallets to make partial pallets or build up pallets for shipment
• Wrap any pallets that need wrapped and document a tally located at the wrap machines, (Hand wrappers are available for pallets that don’t need completely wrapped)
• Follow all warehouse rules and regulations including safe driving and inspection of equipment before and during use
• All other duties assigned by the manager or supervisor

Requirements:
Stand-Up Forklift Operator Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read, understand and carry out written procedures and standard work instructions
• Warehouse experience preferred
• Must have a strong work ethic with reliability and dependability
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently and safely
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Team player

Physical Demands:

• Standing 8-10 hours a day
• Walking for short periods of time
• Get on and off forklift frequently during shift
• Lifting, occasional heavy lifting over-head lifting, from floor level, weights from 10-60 lbs., and lifting while moving the body in various motions
• Carrying items 10- 60 lbs
• Pushing/Pulling
• Climbing/Balance, off forklift, trucks, docks, anything else that requires a step up or down
• Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Must be able to work in various conditions, indoors and outdoors; zero (0) to hundred (100) degrees Fahrenheit, dry or wet climates
• Must be able to work in trailers with temperatures of zero (0) or below, or temperatures of 32 degrees or above
