POSITION SUMMARY:
Primary responsibility Develops, configures, and manages application servers as well as the software that runs on those servers. Analyzes and maintains system performance such as server stress and ensures efficient resource usage.
Coordinates tasks between development and operations team.
Designs, builds and maintains IT infrastructure including storage solutions, servers, switches, firewalls and networks. Manages the deployment, maintenance, and upgrade processes of software applications.
Collaborates with software application developers and engineers to configure and troubleshoot application servers.
Install and configure systems.
Document system configuration and architecture plans.
Desired Skills and Experience
RELATED DUTIES:
· Assists in day-to-day help desk support for the company and members.
· Prepare reports of programming activities, identify procedural changes and impact.
· Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned by Director of Software Development.
· Adhere to company and governmental policies and regulations, including those related to Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Plan compliance.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Programming, Computer Science.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
· Kubernetes – setup, maintenance, deployment, security
· Azure Vault – setup, security
· Experience with setting up and securing CI / CD
