The Data Governance Consultant – Measurement and Reporting is responsible for supporting design, development, testing and production of data management dashboards and related metrics. This includes defining and maintaining the overall data management reporting framework, related processes and key performance/risk indicators (KPIs/KRIs) in support of measuring, monitoring, and managing data-related risks to meet risk and regulatory expectations.
The position partners with various business and technology stakeholders to influence and drive adoption of related Enterprise Data Management strategies, policies, standards, and control frameworks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Accountable for on-time and accurate delivery of data management dashboards and metrics in collaboration with business and technology partners.
· Prepare monthly executive summaries and other executive level reports based on dashboard results
· Performs analysis, validation and interpretation of reporting outputs. Recommends business actions to business leaders based on interpreted findings of the analyzed business reports.
· Applies subject-matter or functional expertise and industry knowledge to research, analyze, design, and/or maintain data sources in information systems to support projects, information needs, and changing reporting requirements.
· Develops business requirements for new reporting capabilities and dashboards.
· Identify data issues and work with technology, risk and business partners to triage, track, communicate, mitigate and remediate the issues to closure
· Support the production of metrics and measures to track progress and adherence, escalating as needed to various committees for visibility and program accountability.
· Executes data and report validations to support ongoing quality assurance and peer review processes.
· Supports design of new metrics and scorecards, including through data visualization and compelling “story-telling” through data.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in related field, eight years of experience in roles with increasing responsibilities in technology, data management, governance, risk or related practice or equivalent education and related training or experience
Preferred Qualifications:
· Master of Business Administration (MBA) or other graduate or advanced-level certification
· Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, etc.
· Knowledge of data tools and platforms used for managing, storing, querying, testing, loading and transforming data (e.g. SAS, Informatica, Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server) and/or relevant data certifications (e.g. CIPP, CIPM)
· History of effective performance within shared service, matrix or federated environments
· Internal or external consulting experience
· Experience with formalized organizational assessment practices (e.g. Capability Maturity Model), including implementation of recommended improvements
