The Relationship Manager of Corporate Trust Escrow Services Administration is responsible for a challenging assignment of sensitive accounts and/or duties related to those accounts assigned to Corporate Trust and Escrow Services (“CTES”) as well as new business partner relationships and cultivating existing partner relationships. Contribute to the attainment of regional growth goals through active participation in new business development activities.

Corporate Trust and Escrow Services provides broad transactional expertise to help Commercial and Corporate clients in CCB, CIG and Wealth meet their financial goals and deepen their relationship with Truist. CTES provides a highly skilled and experienced sales and service team across a variety of solutions and transaction roles including: corporate and municipal bond trustee; commercial escrow agent; M&A administration; Insurance and regulatory trustee; and loan administration services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Work in conjunction with the Manager(s) of Corporate Trust and Escrow Services Administration to ensure uniformity, efficiency and quality in the administration of all accounts assigned to the regional office; assists Manager(s) of Corporate Trust and Escrow Services Administration in the implementation of all administrative procedures to comply with department policy and audit requirements.

* Implementation of Client Onboarding policies and procedures
* Implementation of Account Administration policies and procedures
* Utilization of Corporate Trust and Escrow Services systems and technology

Work closely with Business Development Leaders and Manager(s) of Corporate Trust and Escrow Services Administration on account assignments and provide recommendations of acceptance or rejection of new business opportunities as based on current bank risk metrics.
Serve as primary relationship manager for assigned trust and or agency accounts which may be complex and sensitive in nature.
Provide technical support and participates in the supervision, training and development of support personnel through delegation of duties and assignments.
Actively participate in the communication of the investment process with the customer and our administrative and investment staffs.
Maintain favorable working relationships with customers, attorneys, Certified Public Accountants and other related professionals to assure quality service and to enhance business development opportunities.
Keep Manager(s) of Corporate Trust and Escrow Services Administration informed of administrative progress, complex issues, problems and complaints; makes suggestions to Manager(s) of Corporate Trust and Escrow Services Administration for improvements and enhancements which will better assure quality service.
Responsible for delivering our purpose and providing an inclusive, team-oriented culture aligned with the Truist purpose, mission, and values.
Responsible for all Corporate Trust and Escrow Services Administration risk management ensuring all objectives with respect to compliance and operational risk are met.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and related training
2. Eight or more years of corporate and institutional transactional experience in Corporate Trust and Escrow Services
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills
4. Ability to read and understand contractual agreements (i.e. Trust Indentures, Escrow and Custodial Agreements, Registrar and Paying Agent Agreements, and other standard trust related agreements)
5. Problem-solving ability
6. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
7. Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
8. Working knowledge of the Trust and Agency software packages and applications.
9. Proven experience in relationship management

The annual base salary for this position is $103,800 – $137,500 (New York info only). Additional benefit information can be found at benefits.truist.com.
