Our team is working with a Los Angeles-based Investment Firm with interest in bringing a Private Equity Associate on to their team. The firm has a core focus in Software/Technology Investments and don’t solely rely on Investing acumen to continue achieving above-expected return rates, with true value add to their Port Co’s being a huge component of their success. Compensation within the group at the Associate level is quite competitive, with carry on the table for first year Associates alongside an unfettered promotion path to Senior levels.
A successful candidate will have a true interest in Software & Technology companies beyond the surface level, being prepared to speak in depth on said interest and thoughts of what makes certain Software companies stand out from the rest. The team is open to candidates with 2-4 years of Investment Banking experience of all sector coverages, with Tech/Software experience preferred but not required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (3.7+ GPA from a Top-Tier Institution preferred)
- 3-4+ years of Investment Banking or Private Equity experience
- 0.5-1+ years of post-MBA Investment Banking or Private Equity experience
- Strong modeling, analytical, valuation, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to key internal/external stakeholders
