Position Summary
The Surgical Technologist is responsible for assisting with the care and preparation of the surgical patient under the direct supervision of an operating room RN. The Surgical Technologist has responsibility for the assembly, set-up, and use of surgical instrumentation and equipment during surgical procedures. This position is a team member requiring a cooperative manner, working under the direction of a RN. Work situations are primarily routine, but may change rapidly to an emergent or critical situation, and may require both directed and independent decision-making depending on the nature of the situation. This position requires a service-oriented individual with strong organizational skills
Minimum Requirements
Previous experience preferred.
Education/Licenses/Certifications
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent on the job training, CPR certification required, and National certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred.Compensation Range
H – Min: $16.13-Max: $75.60
