GENERAL FUNCTION: Sales Associates II team members are part of the Sales Delivery Team and are responsible for assisting the Treasury Management Officers with various sales related
activities, including client pricing, presentation building, and portfolio management. The SAII position operates in the capacity of a senior level Sales Associate with proven success in all areas of responsibility of the Sales Associate I role and can successfully handle more complex sales opportunities and greater activity volumes.
Responsibilities are to be completed with limited supervision, in a proactive manner and involve accountability for empowered decision-making and a high level of expertise and depth of knowledge in Treasury Management. The goal of the position is to acquire the knowledge and skill set necessary to become a Treasury Management Officer with full account responsibilities and sales goals.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Support assigned Treasury Management Officers in the sales process and integrate with local/regional teams with elevated business acumen and executive presence
- Engagement and involvement in: client call preparation, proposal generation, relationship reviews, client and industry trend analysis, working capital analysis and interpretation, pricing and profitability modeling in a setting that requires a high level of expertise working with complex clients and numerous Treasury Management solution offerings
- Review and data mine existing portfolio of assigned Treasury Management Officers for revenue enhancement and/or cross-sell opportunities
- Responsible for small sales opportunities and follow up, assisting with solution development
- Assume primary responsibility for assigned RFP sections; complete accurately, meeting deadlines while collaborating on the finished product
- Work jointly with cross-functional deal team and assist in overall solution development and value proposition. Participate, coordinate, and contribute to deliver an exceptional experience for internal and external clients
- RFP pricing process (proformas, modeling, Middle Office submissions)
- Maintain and enhance industry knowledge, reviewing industry periodicals, market segment studies, focus groups, etc
- Act as liaison to support sensitive/escalated customer service and implementation issues on more complex solutions, as well as participate in weekly implementation calls for significant deals
- Strong leadership skills, assist in cross-training partners and other lines of business on TM products/solutions
- Attend and participate in prospect and client facing meetings, when appropriate

Minimum Knowledge & Skills Required
- Minimum 5 years of Treasury Management experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong creative solution and problem solving skills
- Critical thinking and project management experience
- Proven track record of client interactions and proactive solution development
- Initiative and ability to work independently while solving problems and managing multiple tasks
- Ability to interpret and analyze Financial Statements
- Possesses knowledge and understanding of numerous Treasury Management products in
conjunction with Bank’s Risk and Compliance environment
- Insight modeling and pricing proforma knowledge
- Critical thinking and project management experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and unique TM solution based
systems (examples: XAA, Mobius, ACE, Sharepoint, etc.)
Working Conditions

- Extensive PC and phone usage
- Ability to travel approximately 10% – 30% per month, many times on short notice
